2012 Scholarship Program

Following a successful 2011 inaugural scholarship program and award ceremony, the Rocky Mountain Relocation Council (RMRC) and the Charitable Causes Committee will once again offer a $1,000 college scholarship in 2012.

This upcoming spring of 2012, during the RMRC Spring Conference, a one-time award of $1,000.00 will be presented to one Denver or surrounding area high school senior.

Qualified applications will be evaluated by the RMRC Scholarship Selection Committee based on academic performance, standard test scores, extra-curricular activities; to include community service, and an essay addressing the impact of relocating to a new area and new high school and the way the applicant handled the many challenges, as well as opportunities associated with this relocation.

The award will be in the name of the award recipient and sent to the college (2-year or 4-year) or university that the award recipient will be attending in the fall of 2012 to assist with tuition or any other applicable college expenses.

For more information about the RMRC Scholarship Program, please contact Bob Kelly at bkelly@nwvl.com.
